It is with joy and great pride that we can present this year's guests at the Operakällaren Foundation breakfast seminar on 19 October.
We dare to promise that this year's guests are more interesting and current than ever.
The breakfast seminar takes place between 8:30-10:15 on October 19, and this year's event will be broadcast live. Registration for this year's breakfast seminar opens soon!

Guests this year are:
Steffo Törnquist and Jenny Strömstedt The breakfast seminar is led by Steffo Törnquist and Jenny Strömstedt. Steffo is a journalist, presenter and TV personality. He has led many conversations and has for several years been a compere and moderator for the Operakällaren Foundation. Jenny is a presenter and columnist and she has for many years together with, among others, Steffo led TV4 Nyhetsmorgon. With Steffo and Jenny at the helm, this year's breakfast seminar is in very good hands.
Jan Eliasson
Jan Eliasson co-founded WaterAid Sweden in 2009, and today he is the global ambassador for the organization. Jan has been Deputy Secretary General of the UN, Swedish Foreign Minister and Chairman of the UN General Assembly. During the breakfast seminar, Jan will talk about how the world development is affected by the corona pandemic, the consequences for the already most vulnerable people when disasters hit a country, and why water and hygiene are so important for people, communities and the whole world.
Anders Tegnell
Anders Tegnell is state epidemiologist at the Swedish Public Health Agency, and he has become the face of Sweden's handling of the corona pandemic. Anders is an expert on infectious diseases and infection control, and has previously worked in Laos and Zaire (now Congo-Kinshasa). Anders will talk about how societies are affected by pandemics and why clean water and hygiene, especially in hospitals and health centers in the world's poorest countries, are so crucial for health and reducing the spread of infection.
Leah Richardson
Leah Richardson is WaterAid's expert on health and healthcare issues related to water, sanitation and hygiene. Leah will talk about the situation in healthcare facilities in the world's poorest countries, how the lack of clean water and hygiene affects people and how WaterAid works for a world where all people and all healthcare facilities have clean water, toilets and hygiene facilities.
Kjell A. Nordström
Kjell A. Nordström is an economist, author and lecturer. Kjell is a world leading in research concerning multinational companies and globalization. He has acted as an advisor to several multinational corporations and governments, and his books on the subject have sold millions of copies. Kjell will talk about how the corona pandemic has changed the world forever, how it has affected entrepreneurship and development, and what is required for companies to be able to take greater responsibility for sustainable development.
Abbe Ibrahim
Abbe Ibrahim is the founder of Operakällaren Foundation and CEO of Operakällaren. Abbe was born in East Africa, and he started the Operakällaren Foundation after seeing with his own eyes during his honeymoon to Kenya what terrible consequences a lack of clean water has. Abbe will tell the story of the Operakällaren Foundation, and the difference they make to people in Ethiopia.
