THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE OPERAKÄLLAREN FOUNDATION 2022

On 21 October, the Operakällaren Foundation was organised in support of WaterAid.

The day started with a traditional breakfast and panel discussion that offered interesting conversations and a lot of engagement from guests. This year we were pleased to welcome Tilde de Paula who chaired the panel with Jan Eliasson, Micael Dahlen, Ola Rosling, Anna Nilsdotter and Abbe Ibrahim. The theme of the panel was the importance of building a sustainable society so that we can achieve the global goals that are part of Agenda 2030. WaterAid showed that it is profitable (ROI) for companies to invest and work with issues related to WASH - that is, water, sanitation and hygiene throughout the supply chain. It is work that creates lasting change for people as well as businesses.

During the evening's banquet, guests enjoyed performances by fantastic artists such as AMWIN, Mary N'diaye and Prince Mpedzisi, and WaterAid's own ambassador Peter Jöback performed with Petra Marklund. During the evening, works by artists Nathalia Edenmont and Hanna Ekegren and photographers Ivan da Silva and Karolina Henke were auctioned off. The auction also included generous gifts from Breitling, Pahlén and Turkish Airlines, among others. The dinner served was composed by Viktor Westerlind.

Hosts and auctioneers Jenny Strömstedt and Steffo Törnquist.

We would like to thank all the guests who made Operakällaren Foundation 2022 such a success. A special thank you to all of you who donated items, gave gifts or in other ways contributed to us being able to reach people in Ethiopia with clean water. Thank you all!
