WELCOME TO AN EXCLUSIVE BREAKFAST SEMINAR WITH INTERESTING CONVERSATIONS AT OPERAKÄLLAREN

On the 20th of November, NB. new date, Abbe Ibrahim, CEO and founder of Operakällaren Foundation, warmly welcomes you to a breakfast seminar beneficial to WaterAid and their important work for improved access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services in Tanzania.

You will be served breakfast from Operakällaren, followed by interesting and important conversations from the panel. By participating, you are also contributing to WaterAid’s work to provide more people access to get clean water.

This year’s panel will discuss how the lack of clean water affects both healthcare and personal hygiene. In many places these problems are extensive, and they also create difficulties in workplaces and schools. One place that faces this reality is the Handeni district of Tanzania. For example, over 90 % of the healthcare facilities in the district lack access to clean water.

In the area, pregnant women are left with no other choice but to bring their own buckets when they go to the healthcare facilities to give birth. These buckets are for fetching seasonal water for washing while they are at the healthcare facility.

The panel will also talk about solutions, the importance of fundings, and WaterAid will present how the upcoming project in Tanzania can help thousands of people.

The panel will be moderated by journalist and TV host Jenny Strömstedt.
